Meet your veterinarian
Dr. Masood brings 25+ years of veterinary experience across companion and exotic animal medicine, including a broad range of medical and surgical cases. That background informs the in-house dentistry, surgery, urgent care, and exotic-pet care provided at Nova Pets today.
Dr. Masood has led Nova Pets Health Center in Chantilly since 2001. His approach is straightforward: explain the clinical findings, discuss reasonable options, and work with each family on a plan that fits the pet's needs.
Dr. Masood has extensive experience with canine CCL repair, complex dental extractions and oral surgery, soft tissue surgery, and exotic-animal care. These services are provided in-house when appropriate, with referral when a case requires a different level of specialty or emergency care.
Our story
Nova Pets Health Center opened in Chantilly, Virginia in 2001 with a straightforward idea: build an independent veterinary practice where pets and families are known by the team and care decisions stay focused on the patient in front of us.
More than 25 years later, Nova Pets remains independently owned and family operated in Chantilly. We provide routine and advanced veterinary care in-house when appropriate and accept select referrals for procedures we routinely perform.
